Jacob spent 14 years serving another man’s vision to be able to possess the promises of God. Joshua dwelt in the tent of God long after Moses left, spending more time in the Lord’s presence. Our steadfast nature requires a vision for things of God and a dwelling with Jesus that is more than quid pro quo, but rather a life of devotion and relationship.
