There is also a fan club of witnesses – the cloud of witnesses. We have a large group of people who have gone before us who will encourage us and help us to never give up.

The stories of the people in the Bible can teach us so much as they are just like us – Samson, Gideon, Moses, Abraham. They all struggled just as we do – with fear, temptation and insecurity. Their struggles are our struggles and they are just like us.

The cloud of witnesses also reminds us who our focus is – Jesus Christ. All we need to do is put our eyes on Jesus and keep following Him and put one foot in front of another.
